@abhiworld4u Nonetheless, a fantastic piece of work from BBC.

I felt Dravid did not receive his due credit in this documentary. No word of Kumble? India's highest wicket taker? They are not glamorous, but they have defined Indian cricket in 90s and 00s. At least mention his name, if not a 10 min foot print! If you are arguing that this documentary is revolving around the "History" of Indian cricket, where is Gundappa Vishwanath?

good one, but theres a big mistake by BBC.. cricket is not India's National sport..field hockey still is

@Skip0hsa I agree. All three versions are big in India. T20 because of IPL. ODI has been the biggest version of cricket in India since India won in 1983 and re-inforced by winning the 2011 WC. But Test cricket is also big - thanks especially to the batting of Sehwag and Tendulkar - who have breathed life into Test cricket!

I don't see why people are complaining about IPL, Cricket needs something to compete with Soccer Basketball and other world major sports and t20/IPL is the answer. I do prefer ODIs but IPLs are better than having no cricket on.

I just wonder, why there was no mention of India's another World Cup Triumph... Inaugural ICC World T20 Championship 2007 ??? |
